Week 7 #16 Wiki

The list is endless of useful ways to use wiki's. Gardening clubs, reading groups and cooking groups come to mind.
Within the library community there are many people with a common interest and they can be brought together focusing on that interest, ie cooking. The library users would be able to create their own or contribute to one the library had created. They would be able to place gardening hints like the art of taking cuttings or growing difficult plants. The cooking group can exchange receipes and the reading group could discuss books they've read or ask for help in finding a particular title they once heard reviewed on the radio.
As you can see the possibilities are endless, and as you don't need particular skils almost anyone would be able to access this technology.

Hi Suzanne,

It's the relative simplicity of this Web2.0 technology which appeals to me. If you know how to use a keyboard, a mouse and you have some rudimentary typing skills you can blog or wiki with the best of them.

Cheers, Paul.
